The Miami Rail is pleased to present Courtney Malick, our 15th Visiting Writer to date. Malick is a regular contributor to Artforum, San Francisco Arts Quarterly, and V Magazine, and is a founding member of Dis Magazine.

She has curated exhibitions, performances, and discursive events in New York at 47 Canal, Envoy Enterprises, White Box Gallery, and at The New Black in San Francisco. Malick will be presenting a lecture on her research into flesh and genetic modification, and her curatorial work in these (literally) cutting-edge areas.

We are excited that the talk will be hosted by the Institute of Contemporary Art. The ICA Miami is dedicated to promoting the work of contemporary artists and to the exchange of art and ideas throughout the Miami region and internationally.

The Visiting Writers Program, hosted by the Miami Rail, is supported by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
